A very fine book to introduce young readers to the fascinating personality of the one of the world's greatest navigators.Appropriately abreviated to give a good well-rounded picture of Cook's exploits and, which is most important, it inspires the child to want to find out more. My son has already asked for another book with more details and maps...I think this means : mission accomplished!
